The Austin Modern Home Tour celebrates over a decade of collaborative exchange between architects, developers, designers, and real estate professionals, and invites every Austinite to join the Modern Movement! The Austin Modern Home Tour offers a remarkable look at Austin's amazing homegrown architecture as well as the chance to meet the architects and designers who define what modern living means in Austin today.

Located along the golf course in Barton Creek, this contemporary home was designed around the clients’ love of entertaining and their sons’ active lifestyles. The upside down home sits on a sloping lot that incorporates a large sport court in the backyard. The entry opens up to a glass wall with a view and direct access to the backyard for guests. The lower level includes the sport court, viewing cabana, separate exercise room, media and game room, two boys’ bedrooms, a separate bunk room and a family covered porch for ping pong, a storage closet for sports equipment and an area for watching sports on TV.
The main level consists of a separate private wing for the master suite and study. The master bath is designed as one large space, but distinguishes His and Hers sides with separate closets and separate doors into the large shower.

The kitchen is designed for entertaining along with a secondary dirty kitchen around the corner leading to the pantry. There is a small, cozy den for the family to watch movies together.
The home provides separate retreats for the clients and their sons, while providing ample space for family time and entertaining guests within the beautiful backdrop of Barton Creek.
